Daily COVID-19 statistics for the Cayman Islands
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 182 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Monday, 11 January 2021. All were negative. A further 1,100 people have received the COVID-19 vaccine since this was last reported on Monday, 11 January 2021, including 919 in Grand Cayman and 181 in Cayman Brac. This brings the total number of people vaccinated in the Cayman Islands to 3,119.
For symptomatic patients:
10 days after symptom onset, plus at least 3 additional days without symptoms (including without fever and without respiratory symptoms). Persons will then be retested and must obtain two negative tests 24 hours apart.
For asymptomatic cases:
10 days after positive test for COVID-19. Persons will be then be retested and must obtain two negative tests 24 hours apart.
